Olive Jobs vs Simplify (2026): Who Presses Submit

Simplify offers filling and, on its paid plan, submitting. Olive Jobs only fills, on purpose, and spends its effort before the form.

Pick Simplify if fast, wide autofill is the main thing you need, or if you want software that can send applications for you. Pick Olive Jobs if you want to work out which jobs deserve an application first, and want each one to leave your hands only when you press submit yourself.

Simplify's center of gravity is the form. Olive's is everything before the form. As of November 2026 both have a Chrome extension that fills applications, so that's the part worth looking at closely.

Autofill and everything around it

FeatureOlive JobsSimplify
Filling formsThe Chrome extension runs on 40+ job platforms, including applicant tracking systems and employer career sites, and on another site only if you scan the page and grant access.Copilot is a free extension that says it autofills on 100,000+ company career sites and logs each application in your tracker.
SubmittingNever. You read every field and press the button.Copilot leaves it to you. Autopilot fills and submits with no review step, on the paid plan.
Finding jobs1,535,800+ US and US-remote roles open right now, searched by talking or typing, with a fit tier for any posting you ask about.A job board with AI matching and hand-curated lists for new grads, internships and startups.
RésuméTalk it through or upload one for review. Each tailored change is shown before and after.A manual builder for free, AI generation and tailoring on the paid plan.
Interview practiceSpoken, from a posting or a role you name, with a scored review. An AI interviewer tailored to the role, which Simplify says is free with no session limit. The page doesn't say whether it's spoken or typed.
Getting introducedNothing.Recruiter introductions through its AI talent agent, and referral tools on the paid plan.

The site counts aren't directly comparable. Simplify counts career sites, and Olive counts the platforms those sites run on, plus a few named sites. Even so, Simplify's is the wider claim, and we'd expect it to work in places ours doesn't.

The line between filling and submitting

This is the one choice on this page that's about philosophy rather than features. Simplify's Autopilot takes the job and preparation options you choose, then fills and submits without a review step. You get 20 credits a week, one per submitted application. For someone sending a lot of similar applications, that's real time back.

Olive doesn't do this, by choice. Our view is that your name goes on an application, so you should see it before it goes, and AI answers to open-ended questions in particular should get a human read. That's a preference and we have no study to wave at you. What it costs you is speed: if your plan is volume, Olive will feel slow, and you should use something else. If you're getting few replies, our guide on not hearing back after applying is worth a read before you send more.

The trade-offs

AreaOlive JobsSimplify
Autofill reachA shorter list of supported platforms, and a site outside it needs you to scan the page and grant access. The free tier fills fields, but AI answers, tailoring and cover letters are paid.
Sending volumeNo way to send anything without you.Autopilot's 20 weekly credits don't roll over.
CoverageUS and US-remote roles only, with no curated new-grad lists. Its AI interviewer page doesn't say whether you practice out loud, so check if that matters to you.

When to pick Simplify instead

  • Filling forms is your bottleneck and you want it free.
  • You apply on a wide spread of company career sites.
  • You want curated lists for new grads, internships or startups.
  • You want applications sent for you, and you accept not reviewing them.
  • You want free practice interviews and Simplify's stated lack of a session limit suits you.

When fewer applications is the plan

You send fewer applications and want each one to count. You'd use the fit read to skip the long shots, tailor the résumé for the ones you keep, fill the form with the extension and practice out loud when you get the call. How Olive works covers each step, and our guide on how to apply for a job covers what to check before you press submit on any tool.

Olive Jobs vs Huntr also covers autofill, and the best AI job search tools sets Autopilot beside JobCopilot.

Quick answers

Does Olive Jobs auto-apply like Simplify?

No. Olive's extension fills the form, and you review every field and press submit yourself. Simplify's Copilot works the same way, and its separate Autopilot, on Simplify+, fills and submits without a review step.

Is Simplify free?

Simplify's free tier includes Copilot autofill, a manual résumé builder, the job tracker and Gmail integration, and it says its AI interviewer is free. AI tailoring, AI cover letters and Autopilot need Simplify+.

How many sites does the Olive extension work on?

It runs on 40+ job platforms, including applicant tracking systems and employer career sites, and on another site only if you scan the page and grant access. Simplify says Copilot works on 100,000+ company career sites. Those count different things, but Simplify's reach is the wider claim.
