Olive Jobs vs Big Interview (2026): Pricing and Practice
Big Interview is a course with practice attached. Olive Jobs is the rehearsal for the job in front of you, with no course at all.
Pick Big Interview if you want to be taught: a structured course with video lessons, then practice on camera with feedback that includes body language. Pick Olive Jobs if you have a specific posting in hand and want to rehearse for that job out loud tonight, with a scored review, on a free account.
Big Interview has a coach as a co-founder and a curriculum you work through. Olive has no curriculum at all. So the choice comes down to whether you need to learn how to interview or need reps for the one coming up. Its plans and course figures below are as of November 2026.
Lessons, practice and feedback
| Feature | Olive Jobs | Big Interview |
|---|---|---|
| Learning | No course. Free written guides explain methods such as STAR. | 170 video lessons across 12 categories, from basics to advanced techniques. |
| Practice | Out loud, or typed in the browser, built from a real posting, a description you paste or a role you name. | An Interview Simulator, with role and industry scenarios and questions built from your résumé or a job description. |
| Medium | Audio. Your camera stays off, and there's no video review. | Video answers get feedback from VideoAI, and PracticeAI mock interviews are voice-only. |
| Feedback | Each answer is scored with feedback, behavioral answers get a STAR breakdown, and a scored review adds coaching. Delivery is measured from your audio as a preview and doesn't change your score. | AI feedback on delivery, body language and content. |
| Résumé | Built in conversation or uploaded for review, then tailored to the posting you're practicing for. | Big Resume, with AI feedback. |
| Finding jobs | 1,535,800+ US and US-remote roles open right now, with a fit tier for any posting you ask about. | Not what it's for. Its home page and pricing page don't describe a job search. |
A course, or a rehearsal for one job
If you've never interviewed, or the last time was a decade ago, a sequence of lessons does something a practice bot can't. It tells you what good looks like before you try. Big Interview's co-founder, Pamela Skillings, is its chief coach, and it says over 2 million people have used it. It also reads what Olive can't, such as body language, because its video answers put you on camera. In a video interview that matters.
Olive skips the lessons and goes to the part most people put off: saying it out loud, for this job. Because the practice is built from the posting, the questions are about the role you're after, and the review tells you which answers were thin. Big Interview's PracticeAI can also work from a job description, so the rehearsal alone isn't the difference. Olive's has no course around it, starts on a free account and sits beside your search and résumé. It's less of a teacher and more of a sparring partner. If you've got the method and lack the reps, that's what you want. If you don't have the method yet, read our guides on the STAR method and virtual interviews first, or take the course.
Pay once, or keep a subscription
Big Interview sells a one-time lifetime plan as well as time-limited ones, plus a 30-day refund. For someone who interviews every few years, paying once may sit better than a subscription they forget to cancel. Olive has no lifetime option.
What each one costs
| What it costs | Olive Jobs | Big Interview |
|---|---|---|
| Without paying | Free to use, with limits. Search, saved jobs, job alerts, résumé uploads, edits and downloads of your résumés are open on every plan. Searching needs no account. | No free plan or trial is listed. There's a free course and its blog and YouTube content. |
| Paid plan | Plus is $19/month, cancel anytime. | |
| Practice interviews | 2 practice interviews a month on Free. 20 practice interviews a month on Plus. | The Interview Simulator, on its paid plans. The page states no usage cap. |
What you give up with each
| Area | Olive Jobs | Big Interview |
|---|---|---|
| Teaching | No lessons or video examples of good answers. | Practice starts with a paid plan, though there's a 30-day refund. |
| What it can see | No video, so nothing on body language or eye contact. Delivery doesn't count toward your score yet. | PracticeAI is voice-only, so feedback on body language comes from recording video answers separately. |
| Scope | Behavioral, role-specific and company-fit questions only. | Its home and pricing pages describe no job search, so you'd bring the description yourself. |
When to pick Big Interview instead
- You're new to interviewing and want it taught from the start, in order.
- Video presence is what you want to work on.
- You'd rather pay once than keep a subscription.
- Your school or workplace already provides it: it has higher education, workforce and government programs. Olive also works with schools, so check what yours offers.
When reps matter more than lessons
You already know roughly what a good answer looks like and you want practice for a specific job, today, without paying first. Start a practice interview from the posting. How Olive works explains what happens with your answers, and AI mock interview practice covers how to use any tool well.
