Urban Service Person (Full-Time)

JOB DUTIES: Ensure confidentiality and expeditious resolution of all duties. Help build CamTran's employment image by practicing good employee relations and ensuring policies/procedures are enforced consistently and legally. Conduct the business of the Authority in a positive manner and demonstrate excellent customer service skills in carrying out job responsibilities in concert with CamTran's Mission. Excel in communicating necessary information, responding to requests, building rapport and participating in problem solving methods. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Perform the daily fueling and servicing of all Authority vehicles. 2. Prepare vehicles for maintenance inspections. 3. Steam clean Authority vehicles. 4. Perform minor routine battery, cable and terminal maintenance. 5. Replace interior and exterior lighting. 6. Replace tires, as directed, under supervision. 7. Use proper vehicle blocking (vehicle positioning for operation). 8. Remove cash box in conjunction with Dispatcher, if applicable. 9. Clean tire rims and paint, as needed. 10. Complete minor mechanical repairs. 11. Replace marker lights, wiper blades and mirrors. 12. Maintain accurate service records. 13. Check, replenish if necessary and record fluid levels. 14. Check and record tire numbers, tire pressures and tread depths. 15. Clean batteries and components. 16. Record mileage, hours, etc. as required and report any vehicle damage. 17. Visually inspect vehicles for fluid leaks and other unsafe conditions and damages. 18. Clean vehicles inside and out including trash removal, floor mopping and vacuuming, windshield cleaning and dusting floors, ledges and dashboards, as needed. 19. Install and remove advertising signs. 20. Perform heavy and light cleaning in buildings, shops and yards. 21. Operate sweepers and other power cleaning equipment. 22. Clean shop and industrial areas. 23. Load and unload freight, furniture, equipment and supplies, as necessary. 24. Maneuver vehicles around Authority property. 25. Maintain a valid PA Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Airbrake and Passenger endorsement. 26. Assist in training personnel in this classification. 27. Assist personnel in all maintenance classifications, as needed. 28. Perform any other maintenance duties, assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB: 1. Able to reach, stretch, bend, crotch and stoop when performing job duties. 2. Physically fit to lift up to 50 pounds. 3.
