What You Will Do :
The Technical Product Manager translates complex business challenges into scalable enterprise solutions within the Chief Transformation Officer (CXO) organization, supporting internal AI Transformation, Solution Studio and other strategic CXO initiatives. At the intersection of internal stakeholders, process design and technical architecture, this hands-on lead turns ambiguity into structured solution pathways and measurable impact. The role embeds closely with internal teams in a forward-deployed engineering approach, using AI-native methods throughout discovery, prototyping and delivery.
-
Embed with internal stakeholders to diagnose pain points, map processes and data flows, and define business cases, value hypotheses and outcome measures before building.
-
Partner with architects and engineers to frame scalable solution designs and define MVP and proof-of-value slices that demonstrate impact and de-risk production delivery.
-
Partner hands-on with engineers to develop and refine working prototypes, using short build-and-validate cycles, representative data and stakeholder feedback to refine scope and demonstrate value.
-
Evaluate buy, configure, build and reuse options; assess platform and data tradeoffs across cost, quality, security, complexity and scalability.
-
Develop and maintain clear, testable solution specifications and user stories for engineers and AI coding agents, including requirements, constraints and acceptance criteria.
-
Own prioritized backlogs and release plans, partner with architects and engineers to estimate effort and complexity, drive delivery planning, resolve cross-functional dependencies and blockers, and communicate tradeoffs to senior stakeholders.
-
Plan adoption and operational transition early with internal business and IT owners, including release readiness, support, monitoring, documentation and adoption measures.
-
Capture reusable solution patterns and delivery practices, and mentor colleagues in practical AI-native ways of working.
What You Will Need :
-
Bachelor’s Degree; Four (4) years additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
-
8+ years of experience in product management, solution strategy or technology delivery, with demonstrated success translating ambiguous business problems into scalable, adopted solutions preferred.
-
Practical understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, enterprise data and integration fundamentals, and cloud platforms, with sound judgment about fit-for-purpose AI components.
-
A hands-on builder mindset and technical fluency to partner closely with engineers, guide prototype development, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and validate working solutions through experimentation and stakeholder feedback. Prior coding experience or full-stack engineering expertise is not required.
-
Strong analytical and prioritization skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear, testable requirements, estimate delivery effort with engineering teams, and guide Agile delivery toward measurable outcomes.
-
Understanding of Guidehouse’s client industries and business workflows, and experience navigating complex or regulated environments.
-
Excellent written, verbal and executive communication, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs and align business, technical and operational stakeholders.
What Would Be Nice To Have :
-
Direct experience serving or working within at least one of Guidehouse’s core client industries: Healthcare; Financial Services; Communities, Energy & Infrastructure; or Defense & Security.
-
Internal transformation, solution engineering or consulting experience in matrixed organizations.
-
Experience with enterprise AI platforms, AI-assisted development tools, or secure solution deployment and evaluation in regulated environments.
-
Experience independently building applications, automations or other working solutions through professional or personal projects, using AI-assisted development, low-code tools or traditional coding.
-
Fluency with Jira for backlog management, user story refinement, release planning and delivery tracking.
-
Relevant AI, cloud, Agile or product/program management certifications.
