Purpose of the Role

The Global Account Director (GAD) is responsible for managing and growing assigned global Trading Card Game customer accounts. This role serves as the primary commercial point of contact, ensuring strong customer relationships, consistent execution, and delivery of revenue and margin objectives. The GAD works cross‑functionally to translate customer requirements, product concepts, and launch schedules into executable solutions aligned with company capabilities and cost structures.

Key Business Partner Relationships

Internal

  • Global Trading Card Games Sales Leadership

  • Regional Sales and Marketing teams

  • Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams across global sites

  • Product Development, Innovation, and Quality teams

  • Finance, Legal, and Customer Service

External

  • Assigned Trading Card Games publishers, licensors, and brand partners

  • Customer product development and sourcing teams

  • Distribution or channel partners as applicable

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Relationship Ownership

  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned global Trading Card Games accounts

  • Build and maintain long‑term, trusted relationships with customer stakeholders at multiple organizational levels

  • Execute account plans aligned to customer product roadmaps and internal growth objectives

Sales Execution & Commercial Performance

  • Achieve annual sales, revenue, and margin targets for assigned accounts

  • Support pricing strategy, quotations, and contract negotiations in alignment with company guidelines

  • Identify incremental growth opportunities including new SKUs, product formats, and program expansions

Customer Execution & Service Excellence

  • Manage the end‑to‑end account lifecycle from early engagement through production, delivery, and ongoing supply

  • Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure on‑time delivery, quality performance, and customer satisfaction

  • Proactively manage customer inquiries, issues, and change requests

Global Coordination & Internal Alignment

  • Collaborate with global manufacturing sites to ensure consistent execution and customer alignment

  • Support demand forecasting, inventory planning, and working capital objectives, including DSO discipline

  • Represent the customer internally and ensure timely communication across functions

Product Development & Market Awareness

  • Support customer product development initiatives, including materials, finishes, packaging, and sustainability solutions

  • Maintain awareness of Trading Card Games market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs

  • Provide feedback and insights to sales leadership and innovation teams

Representation & Industry Engagement

  • Participate in customer meetings, business reviews, and selected industry events or trade shows

  • Support internal meetings and initiatives as required

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus

  • 6–10 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer-facing roles within manufacturing or consumer products

  • Experience managing complex customer relationships across regions or globally

  • Demonstrated experience in creative and technical or technical‑solutions selling, translating customer concepts and requirements into executable, value‑added manufacturing solutions

  • Strong commercial and analytical skills with exposure to contracts, pricing, and forecasts

  • Experience in Trading Card Games, games, toys, or licensed consumer products strongly preferred

  • International business exposure desired
