The Mental Wellbeing Director, Account Management serves as the senior leader responsible for account management strategy, client retention, operational performance, and growth for a portfolio of large, National complex clients focused on the market impact of Aetna’s Resources for Living (RFL) Employee Assistance Program solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account management strategies for an assigned book of business.

  • Lead client discussions regarding service delivery, performance expectations, operational issues, and process improvements.

  • Identify service gaps, investigate root causes, and implement corrective action plans.

  • Oversee business strategy implementation across assigned client segments.

  • Analyze market and competitive trends to support pricing, underwriting, product development, service models, and sales efforts.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, plan sponsors, providers, customers, and regulatory stakeholders.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives, while supporting recruitment and retention efforts.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams and remove organizational barriers that impact client outcomes.

Qualifications: Required

  • 7 to 9 years of experience managing large, complex self-funded clients.

  • Demonstrated experience leading Account Management/Account Executive teams.

  • Ability to travel 25% - 30%.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience in Account Management leadership with EAP, behavioral health, or workforce wellbeing solutions.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
