Insight Global is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to join one of their federal contracting clients at Fort Bliss, TX. This individual will oversee all quality control activities for a USACE dormitory renovation project currently at approximately 50% completion. The QCM will be responsible for ensuring all work complies with contract requirements, project specifications, and quality standards while coordinating inspections, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities. This is a fully onsite role requiring 5+ days per week onsite.

Responsibilities -Manage and administer the project's Quality Control Program -Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections -Ensure work complies with USACE requirements, specifications, and quality standards -Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities -Monitor MEP installations and verify quality throughout construction and closeout -Review submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation -Identify deficiencies, track corrective actions, and verify resolution -Maintain QC reports, inspection logs, and project records -Coordinate directly with project leadership, subcontractors, and government representatives -Support punch list completion, project closeout, and final acceptance

Skills and Requirements

-10+ years of construction quality control or construction management experience -Current USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) Certification -Experience supporting federal construction projects -Experience managing quality programs for vertical construction or building renovation projects -Strong understanding of inspections, testing, commissioning, and turnover procedures -Previous USACE project experience -Experience with occupied facility or dormitory renovations -EM 385-1-1 familiarity -RMS, Procore, or similar construction management software experience -Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
