Full job description

Career Opportunity: Navigator with Found Village in Cincinnati, OH ## ## ## Do you believe young adults ages 19-25 can build lives of stability and purpose with the right people beside them? Are you a steady, resourceful professional who can help someone navigate complex systems, recover from setbacks, and take ownership of their future? If so, we'd like to talk with you. Found Village is seeking a Navigator to walk alongside young adults ages 19-25 as they take on the responsibilities of adulthood. You'll build trusted relationships while helping each young adult create stability, pursue new opportunities, and become more independent. You won't manage their lives for them, you'll coach, equip, and encourage them to build the skills and support network they need to move forward. ?Responsibilities: - Help young adults ages 19-25 secure and maintain housing, manage money, access healthcare and benefits, and navigate leases, insurance, appointments, and other adult responsibilities. - Support job searches, career advancement, education, training, certifications, and college goals while connecting young adults with employers, mentors, and other opportunities. - Help each young adult identify meaningful long-term goals and create practical, achievable plans to reach them. - Teach young adults how systems work so they can confidently advocate for themselves and make informed decisions. - Recognize risks early, help prevent challenges from becoming crises, and provide steady support when plans fall through. - Balance encouragement with accountability while helping young adults regroup, problem-solve, and continue moving forward. - Help young adults build healthy, lasting relationships with family, friends, coworkers, mentors, and community members. - Develop collaborative relationships with employers, landlords, schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations. - Coach rather than direct, empower rather than rescue, and build independence rather than dependence. - Keep commitments, communicate proactively, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold healthy professional boundaries. Requirements: - Experience in coaching, case management, workforce development, housing support, or direct work with young adults (required). - Knowledge of employment, education, housing, benefits, healthcare, or financial-service systems---or the ability to learn quickly. - A coaching mindset focused on helping people develop their own skills, confidence, and solutions. - The ability to balance compassion with accountability and have honest, respectful conversations. - Resourcefulness, persistence, and calm problem-solving when circumstances change. - Strong relationship-building skills with employers, landlords, providers, and community partners. - Initiative, self-awareness, adaptability, and openness to feedback. Who thrives in this role: You are energized by helping people build independence and can remain steady when plans change. You approach setbacks as part of growth, bring both compassion and accountability to your work, and measure success by how well someone can eventually stand on their own. You are comfortable working with autonomy, collaborating with a team, and helping shape practices within a growing organization. This may not be the right fit if you prefer to fix problems for people, need quick results to stay motivated, or see setbacks as failure rather than part of the process. What success looks like: During your first 90 days, you'll build trust and learn each young adult's goals, strengths, support system, and current needs. You'll de
