Position Title: Adjunct Instructor - Technical Theatre Location: Big Rapids (Main Campus) Department: 33500 - Humanities Advertised Salary: Minimum of $1,353 per credit hour, if advanced degree held in primary academic discipline the minimum rate increases to $1,458 per credit hour. Adjunct Faculty FLSA: Exempt **Temporary/Continuing: ** Temporary Part-Time/Full-Time: Part-Time Union Group: Ferris Nontenure-Track Faculty Organization (FNTFO) (AFT) Term of Position: As Needed At Will/Just Cause: Just Cause Summary of Position: The Humanities Department seeks an instructor to teach at least one Technical Theatre course in the Fall and Spring semesters during the academic year. This is a pooled teaching position on the Big Rapids campus. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State's sites. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan by the first day of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date of this position is January 2027. The selected candidate(s) for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future. The university will not assist with any F-1 EAD's, OPT, H-1B, etc.
