Change Manager - O&G Finance

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an experienced Change Manager to support a large-scale finance transformation initiative for a leading oil and gas company. This individual will work closely with and take day-to-day direction from the Lead Change Manager to support the accelerated implementation of OneStream, a financial performance management platform that will enhance forecasting and reporting capabilities across the organization.

Day to day, this person will execute change management activities, support stakeholder and change readiness assessments, develop communications and engagement materials, and help finance teams navigate new processes and ways of working. They will collaborate closely with the Lead Change Manager, project leadership, finance stakeholders, and Deloitte to drive adoption and keep change activities moving within a fast-paced, 40-week implementation timeline.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of change management experience, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal instincts, and the ability to read a room, communicate difficult messages effectively, and execute quickly in a fast-moving environment.

Skills and Requirements

• Prosci certification or CCMP (Certified Change Management Professional) — required; non-negotiable

• 8+ years of experience as a Change Manager, with a demonstrated track record as a seasoned consultant

• 5+ years of recent Oil and gas industry experience — required; candidates without oil and gas background will not be considered

• Finance orientation — 5+ years of experience supporting finance functions, finance system implementations, or finance line-of-business stakeholders (e.g., FP&A, accounting, tax, financial reporting) ERP/financial software implementation experience — experience supporting rollouts of platforms such as OneStream, SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan, or similar financial performance management tools strongly preferred; direct OneStream experience is a plus but not required

• Consulting background — must have operated as an external or internal consultant; demonstrated ability to integrate into client culture and work independently within a client-managed change readiness structure

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills — proven ability to work with senior finance leaders and cross-functional teams, with a culturally adaptive, professional communication style
