What You Will Do:

Join our Engineering team as a Senior Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting laboratory operations and collaborating with engineers and technicians to advance our materials engineering initiatives. You will contribute to sample production, testing, and process improvement in an onsite environment.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with engineers and technicians to complete lab work and achieve project goals.

• Fabricating samples for testing purposes.

• Performing mechanical testing on samples to ensure quality and compliance.

• Cutting samples using water jet and bandsaw equipment.

• Spraying primers onto samples as part of fabrication processes.

• Developing updated best practices for laboratory operations.

• Mentoring new technicians to enhance team capabilities.

• What You Will Learn

Qualifications You Must Have :

• Typically requires minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and a HS Diploma OR AA/AS degree.

• Experience in laboratory operations, including sample fabrication and testing.

• Experience with mechanical testing processes.

• Experience operating water jet equipment and other cutting tools.

• Must be a U.S. citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Qualifications We Prefer :

• Experience programming equipment for automated processes.

• Experience mentoring or training team members.

• Creativity in developing solutions for laboratory challenges.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is 41,400 USD - 72,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
