Join NVIDIA’s innovative team as a DSX Infrastructure Integration Engineer and play a meaningful role in the future of AI Factory infrastructure. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to work with world-class partners, bringing your practical understanding of high-density AI deployments to the forefront. Collaborate with industry leaders, general contractors, and trade partners to turn visionary builds into operational excellence. Be part of a team that is setting the standard for AI infrastructure, developing a flawless and scalable environment for ground breaking technology!
What you'll be doing:
- Assess modular deployment solutions from top providers, ensuring they align with DSX scalable deployment units. Work closely with owners, designers, general contractors, and multiple trades to identify scope gaps and installation conflicts, monitoring decisions and actions until resolved.
- Assess NVIDIA and partner modular builds across MEP procurement, long-lead equipment, factory production, deliveries, installation sequencing, and commissioning achievements. Conduct factory and site reviews, monitor installation quality, and drive correction of deficiencies.
- Coordinate liquid-cooling interfaces from facility water systems through coolant distribution units (CDUs), technology cooling loops, manifolds, and rack connections, ensuring compatibility and reliability.
- Coordinate power distribution interfaces, working with electrical specialists on capacity, redundancy, grounding, and protection to ensure systems are ready for AI workload changes.
- Integrate building management systems (BMS), electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS), and equipment controls, ensuring systems respond accurately during normal operation and recovery.
- Evaluate commissioning requirements with commissioning authorities, contractors, and OEMs, reviewing scripts, prerequisites, and evidence before acceptance.
- Manage factory-to-site module connections, support handover of as-built records, O&M manuals, and operator training, turning deployment lessons into DSX reference architectures.
What we need to see:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of progressively responsible MEP coordination, construction delivery, systems integration, or commissioning experience, including data centers or comparable critical facilities.
- Experience as a general contractor MEP coordinator or MEP manager, coordinating multiple trades from preconstruction through turnover.
- Hands-on knowledge of liquid cooling systems for high-density AI racks, encompassing CDUs and hydraulic connections.
- Practical understanding of data center electrical distribution, UPS and backup power, and coordination between electrical and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of controls integration, BMS and EPMS, and system failover.
- Direct experience supporting Level 1 through Level 5 commissioning, including reviewing test scripts.
- Ability to interpret MEP drawings, electrical one-line diagrams, and coordinated BIM models.
- Practical understanding of relevant building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to travel to factories and project sites as needed.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Experience with modular or prefabricated data center deployments.
- Delivery experience with liquid-cooled GPU clusters or NVIDIA accelerated-computing infrastructure.
- Experience planning or witnessing coordinated tests of power loss, cooling interruption, and redundancy under representative loads.
- Familiarity with Navisworks, Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with digital twins or simulation for validating MEP interfaces and operational readiness.
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and other objective job-related factors. The expected base salary ranges for this position are: 184,000 USD – 287,500 USD for Level 5; and 216,000 USD – 345,000 USD for Level 6. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
