Full job description

About us Office Hours is an on-demand marketplace for verified human knowledge. We connect leading organizations with trusted experts who earn income by sharing their knowledge through advisory work, research, and AI model training. We're a fast-growing, profitable company building new ways for people and AI agents to access human expertise. We are headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in Brooklyn and Bangalore, and backed by leading marketplace investors and operators from companies like DoorDash, Airbnb, Pinterest, and Affirm.

What we believe Human knowledge is the world's most valuable asset. Yet most of it remains inaccessible and underutilized. We're building a world where anyone can get paid for what they know, and anyone can access trusted human expertise on demand. We believe great products can make this exchange effortless, creating more opportunities for experts and more valuable answers for the people who need them.

About the role We're looking for a Product Manager, Growth who combines exceptional creativity with strong analytical instincts. We're open to candidates at both the Product Manager and Senior Product Manager levels, and care more about demonstrated ability, impact, and potential than years of experience or previous titles. You'll help more people discover Office Hours, experience its value, and keep coming back. Initially, you'll focus on growing engagement across our expert network, improving everything from acquisition and onboarding to activation, retention, and repeat earning opportunities. Over time, your work may extend across both sides of our marketplace. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves understanding why people behave the way they do, identifying opportunities to accelerate growth, and turning ideas into measurable results. You'll partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations to dig into data, form hypotheses, run experiments, and ship improvements that move the business forward.

What you'll do

  • Find opportunities for growth. Analyze user behavior, conversion funnels, and cohort data to identify friction, uncover insights, and prioritize the highest-impact opportunities.

  • Experiment relentlessly. Develop creative hypotheses, design experiments, measure results, and iterate quickly. Know when to run a rigorous A/B test and when a simpler experiment can help you learn faster.

  • Improve activation and engagement. Help more experts successfully onboard, discover relevant opportunities, earn their first dollar, and return regularly.

  • Build compounding growth loops. Explore new ways to drive acquisition, referrals, engagement, retention, and reactivation through product experiences that create lasting value.

  • Turn insights into shipped products. Work closely with engineering and design to prototype, build, launch, and refine solutions, balancing speed with a high standard for product quality.

  • Own outcomes, not output. Define clear success metrics, build dashboards, track performance, and use what you learn to continuously improve the product and our growth strategy.

  • Collaborate across the business. Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Operations to connect growth initiatives with our broader company goals.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in product management, growth, analytics, engineering, or a related field. We care more about demonstrated ability and impact than a specific career path.

  • Creative and quantitative instincts. You enjoy finding unconventional solutions to difficult problems and using data to understand whether they work.

  • A scientific mindset. You're naturally curious, comfortable forming and testing hypotheses, and willing to change your mind when the evidence suggests a better approach.

  • Strong analytical skills. You're comfortable working with funnels, conversion rates, cohorts, and product analytics tools, and can independently investigate problems using data.

  • A bias toward action. You're resourceful, proactive, and comfortable taking ideas from early exploration through execution without waiting for perfect information.

  • Strong product judgment. You care about the people using your product and understand that sustainable growth comes from delivering genuine value, not simply optimizing metrics.

  • Clear communication and collaboration. You can explain complex problems simply, bring people together around a solution, and take ownership of outcomes.

Bonus experience

  • Experience working on growth, activation, engagement, or retention at a consumer product, marketplace, or product-led software company.

  • Experience with experimentation platforms, SQL, PostHog, Metabase, or similar analytical tools.

  • Experience building products, prototypes, or side projects using AI-assisted development tools.

  • Entrepreneurial experience, whether founding a company, building an independent product, or leading a new initiative from scratch.

Benefits + perks

  • Competitive salary and equity

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k)

  • Monthly wellness and fitness stipend

  • Flexible vacation time and company holidays

  • Annual company offsites

  • Flexible remote work policy

  • Paid parental leave

Pay transparency notice Full-time offers include base salary, equity, and benefits. The expected base salary range for this role is $160,000–$220,000, depending on relevant experience, skills, and scope.
