This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Substitute custodians assist with daily cleaning tasks, light maintenance, and building upkeep across classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Key Responsibilities - Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas - Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned spaces - Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners - Assist with cafeteria cleanup, including wiping tables and maintaining floors - Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing bulbs or restocking supplies - Set up or break down rooms for events or activities as needed - Ensure safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment - Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damages to supervisors - Follow district cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and schedules - Work collaboratively with custodial staff and school personnel ------------------------------------------------------------------------ []{style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1); font-family: Ari "}
