Transportation Coordinator - Aramark Nexus

Job Description

Aramark Nexus is hiring a Transportation Coordinator to support transportation operations at Caprock, our large-scale workforce housing community near Mobeetie, Texas.

This role is responsible for coordinating the daily movement of our vehicle fleet between Caprock employee housing and the job site , helping ensure employees arrive safely, reliably, and on schedule.

The Transportation Coordinator will serve as a central point of communication for drivers, transportation leadership, and site operations. This person will help manage daily transportation schedules, track vehicle movement, adjust routes or assignments when operational needs change, and respond quickly when transportation issues arise.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with experience in transportation coordination, dispatch, fleet operations, shuttle operations, logistics, or driver scheduling who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where reliable transportation is a critical part of daily operations.

Compensation

• Pay: $24.00 per hour

• Free Private Housing: Single-occupancy accommodations available on-site for eligible employees

• Free Meals: Three meals per day

• Benefits available to eligible employees in accordance with Aramark benefit plans

Job Responsibilities

• Performs and coordinates a variety of duties related to dispatch and scheduling

• Responsible for receiving calls for service; prioritizes and coordinates the service requests

• Works closely with management and the dispatch team to communicate needs and ensure timely guest service

• Maintains records and documentation of service requests on appropriate software

• Provides customer service and maintains a friendly demeanor toward customers, guests, clients, and co-workers

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transportation dispatch or related field preferred

• Must have a solid understanding of common software applications

• Demonstrates strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attentional to detail

• Excellent social and communication skills, both written and verbal

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
