Responsibilities include maintaining all Facility/ Material Handling Equipment, and ground equipment through preventative maintenance schedules, while providing additional support to the maintenance department as required.]{sleek-node-id="ZnUxWq"} Responsibilities\ [Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.]{sleek-node-id="L7OGI9"} - Troubleshoot and repair basic electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems (i.e., belt tracking, sensors, chain alignment and tension, replace/repair gear boxes/motors, electrical overloads, blown fuses, broken mac valves, etc) as well as analyze and repair basic system/material handling equipment malfunctions. - Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at the beginning of the shift, including checking for damage and reporting any damage or malfunctions to the supervisor immediately. - [Operate lift trucks, maintenance equipment, grounds equipment, and company vehicles.]{sleek-node-id="JBqtVy"} - [Perform extensive maintenance procedures, including conducting daily preventative maintenance inspections.]{sleek-node-id="T7ceR7"} - Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or needed repairs to the supervisor; clean equipment. - [Properly follows critical Lockout/Tagout procedures while working on equipment.]{sleek-node-id="k0QrJH"} - Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures; uses required Personal Protective Equipment (i.e., safety glasses, Arc flash suits, respirators, and fall protection). - [Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.]{sleek-node-id="fLIm5n"} - [Support Junior Technicians through basic facility/grounds maintenance, including but not limited to basic plumbing, yard work, lightbulb replacement, drywall repair, HVAC checks, cleaning, and floor repairs.]{sleek-node-id="kxO4U2"} - Support Senior Technicians through troubleshooting and repair of extensive electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems (i.e., Programmable Logic Controller malfunctions, transformer failures, circuit card diagnostics, shoe/tilt tray sorter repairs, servo motor troubleshooting, cardboard baler service, etc). - [Ability to read, write, conduct business-related mathematics, analyze data, and utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System as required.]{sleek-node-id="S0VOUX"} - [Bring problems to the attention of the supervisor, manager, safety director, or HR manager.]{sleek-node-id="HuWLam"} - [Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.]{sleek-node-id="gqP81H"} - [All other duties as assigned; willing to use industrial power tools such as welders, bandsaws, lathes, presses, bench grinders, etc.]{sleek-node-id="AVXmcE"} - [Effectively communicate/interact amicably with fellow associates, team members, supervisors, and managers.]{sleek-node-id="pN0chm"}
