Practicing in collaboration with the Medical Director, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides high-quality comprehensive medical care to University students. The scope of the college health NP practice emphasizes primary care and women's health issues for University students. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluates and treats acute and chronic student medical conditions; provides gynecological care to students; orders and interprets diagnostic testing for students. Provides follow-up care and referrals to specialists as needed. Documents the delivery of medical care in the student's health record via electronic medical records. Assist Health Center staff with walk-in patient visits.
