Full job description

Job Description

We are seeking a technically fluent Senior Technical Product Manager to own product direction, requirements, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment for an enterprise data and application platform. This role bridges business stakeholders and a small, cross-functional technical team, translating business needs into clear requirements and measurable outcomes. In addition to product ownership, this person will bring practical application development experience and contribute directly to prototypes, user-facing enhancements, and workflow improvements as priorities allow. The role will initially emphasize product ownership, transition, and stabilization, with opportunities to increase hands-on application development contributions as the platform matures. Compensation: $80 - 100/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Product Ownership & Stakeholder Management Own the product roadmap, backlog, prioritization, and release planning in partnership with technical leadership and business stakeholders. Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics. Engage stakeholders to understand workflows, resolve competing priorities, and align expectations regarding scope, timing, and outcomes. Make informed trade-offs among business value, user experience, technical feasibility, complexity, and risk. Drive user acceptance testing, release readiness, stakeholder communications, adoption, and continuous improvement. Hands-On Application Development Build prototypes and contribute to application enhancements, workflow configuration, and user-facing features where appropriate. Translate user feedback into practical design improvements and testable application changes. Collaborate with application engineering and technical leadership to implement, test, review, and release enhancements in line with team engineering standards. Increase hands-on development contributions as the platform stabilizes while maintaining accountability for product direction and prioritization.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in technical product management, product ownership, business systems analysis, or comparable enterprise technology delivery. Strong requirements definition, prioritization, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Technical fluency across application architecture, data flows, APIs, integrations, testing, and deployment. Practical hands-on development experience building prototypes or application features. Experience with Palantir Foundry or a comparable enterprise data and application platform, ideally including hands-on development. Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, APIs, or similar technologies. Experience with finance systems, planning workflows, analytics, ML-enabled products, or control-sensitive applications. Experience transitioning an existing solution into sustained operation and continuous improvement.
