Full job description

Job Details: Position Type: Student, Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.00Hourly, Purpose of this Position:

To support the psychology department with educating and supporting students as well as to support faculty research and scholarship. Tasks could be focused around different roles depending upon faculty and department needs.

Essential Job Functions (include, but are not limited to):

Supporting departmental efforts in advising, career opportunities, communication, enrollment management activities, student clubs and organizations, advisory mechanisms, etc. • Supporting faculty in course preparation – copying materials, setting up activities, etc. Supporting faculty course implementation and student tracking Assisting faculty with research, data collection, literature reviews, lab tasks, etc. • Tutoring students as needed in specific courses in need of tutoring support

Qualifications: Requirements:

Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Western New England University, preferably a psychology major (or something similar) with affiliated knowledge.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to take initiative and work on projects consistently Clear communication skills – with supervisor/faculty, oral and written Dependability – commitment to follow-through Showing up and working when planned - Flexibility to complete the work as needed by faculty when tasks may change regularly Office 365 skills and familiarity with word, excel, PowerPoint, and Canva at a minimum
