  • Proven background in inventory control and inventory management, including cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.

  • Proficiency with ERP, MRP, WMS, or similar inventory management and production planning systems.

  • Ability to work with bills of materials (BOM) and production schedules to determine material requirements.

  • Competence in Microsoft Excel and data entry for maintaining reports and material status updates.

  • Strong communication skills for direct interaction with suppliers, vendors, project managers, and production teams.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and prioritize multiple open orders and material issues.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining material records and documentation.

  • Organizational skills to manage multiple shipments, backorders, and material shortages simultaneously.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise ERP platforms.

  • background in production planning, production control, and production scheduling.

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, stockroom procedures, receiving, and shipping processes.

  • Familiarity with supplier management and vendor management best practices.

  • Understanding of transportation, freight coordination, and expedited shipping options.

  • Exposure to purchasing, buyer purchasing activities, and procurement workflows.

  • Experience working with material planning, material requirements, and material shortage mitigation strategies.

  • Comfort working in cross-functional teams that include Production, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Project Management, Warehouse, and Operations.
