Lab Assistant
Setting: Healthcare Facilities
Job Type: Contract - Full Time
Pay: $32 / Hour
Hours: 40.00
Location: Salinas, CA
The Laboratory Assistant, under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Manager, is responsible for providing general assistance to laboratory personnel. Specific duties and skills will vary based on the assigned laboratory section.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, biology or relevantfield preferred
-
High School diploma or equivalent required if not certified
-
CMLA certification preferred and may be required bystate/contract
-
Phlebotomy certification may be required per state/contract
-
One year experience working in a laboratory settingpreferred
-
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
-
Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
-
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
