NY1717221 Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) needed at River Ridge in Amsterdam NY. Full time and part time positions available. All shifts available. River Ridge Living Center is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our skilled nursing team. Our CNAs play a vital role in providing exceptional care while helping residents maintain dignity, comfort, and the highest possible quality of life. RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents while preserving their dignity and independence. - Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. - Safely assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility using proper lifting techniques and equipment. - Measure and document vital signs, intake/output, weights, and other observations as assigned. - Observe and promptly report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the nursing team. - Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies. - Assist nurses with treatments and resident care procedures. - Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. - Follow all infection prevention, safety, and HIPAA guidelines. - Communicate professionally with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. - Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered environment. QUALIFICATIONS - Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. - High school diploma or GED preferred. - Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, hospital, or long term care setting is preferred. - Experience with electronic medical records is a plus. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team. - Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused. - Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely throughout the shift.
