We're looking for a Forward Deployed Accountant / Controller to work directly with our customers and help shape the product. We have raised over $21M from top-tier investors including YC, YC Continuity, Valar, Seedcamp, WndrCo, Moonfire, Bradley Horowitz (VP Product, Google) and more. We help thousands of companies streamline their financial workflows, and we have hundreds of 5/5 ratings on G2. Our founding team previously worked at one of the fastest-growing fintechs, Revolut.

What you’ll do

• Run close for our restaurant and hospitality customers with AI and automations, end-to-end: daily entries, weekly reconciliations, period close, reporting.

• Travel to our customers’ offices to work with them in-person and get fully “embedded” in their workflows.

• Turn the workflows that break into product improvements.

This job is for you if

• You are a qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). An FP&A background is a plus.

• You have owned a month-end close start to finish, ideally for a multi-entity company. Hospitality, restaurants or other multi-location operators are a plus.

• You are a true builder who has deployed automation and AI in accounting work.

• You are thorough and meticulous, very hands-on and in the details. You are excited to reconcile to the cent from the original sources.

• You want to be working on the ground with customers.

• You ask probing questions and enjoy discovery: understanding how a customer’s business and workflows really run is a big part of this role.

• Beyond the close, you have a track record of driving projects end-to-end.

• You are presentable and can build trust with both CFOs and non-accountants: business owners and general managers.
