Campus Safety Officer

This position provides security services, including maintaining the security of all buildings and property of the College, as well as patrolling resident halls. Required qualifications: high school education or equivalent; good physical condition; ability to use independent judgment; work shift work, including nights and weekends; and possess a valid Kansas drivers license, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to fill out and complete investigative reports/daily logs. The position is an armed position, so the applicant must be legally able to carry a firearm and will be required to pass a background check and a psychological evaluation. Preferred qualifications: associates degree; knowledge of state and federal statutes, along with criminal justice procedures and policies.
