Full job description
Description We are looking for an experienced Communications Specialist to support a long-term contract engagement based in St Paul, Minnesota, with flexibility for remote or hybrid work. This position will lead strategic internal and external communications initiatives that strengthen brand alignment, improve employee engagement, and support high-visibility marketing efforts. The role also partners with cross-functional teams, agencies, and legal stakeholders to deliver coordinated messaging, digital content, and brand transition activities across multiple channels.
Responsibilities:

Lead communication planning and execution for internal initiatives, ensuring messaging reflects organizational priorities and reaches employees at the right time.

Create and publish digital content such as website updates, blog posts, videos, photography, presentation materials, and other branded assets.

Manage project timelines, facilitate recurring status meetings, and provide clear progress updates to stakeholders throughout the contract period.

Coordinate brand rollout activities across office locations and marketing materials, working closely with agency partners and internal teams to maintain consistency.

Partner with legal counsel and relevant departments on trademark-related items, content review, and resolution of communication issues when needed.

Develop sales enablement resources, customer-facing pitch materials, landing pages, and brochure updates that support a unified portfolio message.

Measure the effectiveness of communication campaigns and present results, recommendations, and insights to leadership and partner teams.

Support thought leadership messaging, media relations preparation, workshop materials, and event communications tied to trade shows and industry-facing initiatives. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a comparable field of study.

At least 15 years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, or brand strategy roles.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for internal teams, customers, media, and leadership audiences.

Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, coordinating timelines, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Background in digital content development, including websites, blogs, presentation materials, video, or photography-driven communications.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, external agencies, and legal partners while maintaining brand standards.

Experience analyzing communication performance and translating results into actionable recommendations.
