Under limited supervision of the Director of Dentistry:

• Provides direct care to inmate population.

• Maintains dental health and delivery services at assigned dental clinic for assigned inmate population.

• Manages and supervises assigned dental assistant personnel.

• Manages and supervises operations at the assigned dental clinic to ensure compliance with appropriate standards.

• As directed by the Director of Dentistry, provides dental care at institutions other than the assigned institutions.

SCDC Minimum Requirements: Graduate from an accredited dental school with dental experience. Licensure to practice dentistry in South Carolina, current federal and state DEA.

Prefer 3 years of dental experience and CPR certification.
