Minnesota Hands & Voices is seeking a collaborative leader to oversee statewide programs supporting children who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families. Through a family-centered, peer-to-peer approach, the Director helps ensure families have access to trusted information, meaningful connections, and resources that support their child's growth, development, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and grow Minnesota Hands & Voices and DHH Role Model programs.

Supervise, support, and develop a dedicated team while fostering a collaborative team culture.

Oversee program operations, budgets, grants, contracts, quality outcomes, and evaluation activities.

Build strong partnerships with families, community organizations, funders, referral partners, and stakeholders.

Identify funding opportunities and support long-term program sustainability and growth.

Represent the organization in community collaborations and initiatives

Requirements:

Must be a parent of a child who is deaf or hard of hearing.

Bachelor's degree and at least five years of leadership, management, or related experience.

Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and leadership skills.

Commitment to supporting families in an unbiased, inclusive, and family-centered manner.

Experience with public policy, grants, nonprofit programs, or community engagement preferred.

American Sign Language (ASL) and/or Cued Speech proficiency strongly preferred.

Must have schedule flexibility, including weekends and evenings.
