About this role:

The Business Execution Manager will lead the Dealer Desk within Auto Dealer Management. This leader will be accountable for building and sustaining a high-performing team while delivering strong operational performance and continuously improving the dealer and employee experience.

Dealer Desk serves as a key point of contact for dealers and business partners. The team receives requests by phone and email, gathers required information, coordinates with internal Auto partners, tracks requests through completion, and provides timely updates and resolution to the dealer or requesting partner.

The successful candidate will be a visible, hands-on people leader who sets clear expectations, creates accountability, develops talent, and builds a culture of consistent execution. The role also requires strong business execution across process efficiency, dealer experience, risk and controls, change delivery, and cross-functional partnership.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Service Representatives, with clear expectations for performance, accountability, service, quality, and risk management.

  • Build a disciplined, engaged, and high-performing team by establishing consistent operating routines, providing timely and actionable coaching, recognizing strong results, and promptly addressing performance or behavioral concerns.

  • Create individual development plans, expand team capability, and establish succession and talent-development opportunities that strengthen the team over time.

  • Build trust and psychological safety while maintaining high standards, encouraging employees to raise issues, challenge inefficient processes, and recommend improvements.

  • Ensure employees have the knowledge, training, tools, procedures, and support required to execute effectively and independently.

  • Lead the day-to-day execution of Dealer Desk activities, ensuring dealer and business-partner requests are handled accurately, efficiently, and within established service expectations.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators, using operational data to identify trends, capacity needs, service gaps, coaching opportunities, and improvement priorities.

  • Lead resolution of complex or high-risk dealer escalations and coordinate across Auto partners when issues require support beyond Dealer Desk.

  • Evaluate recurring dealer issues, escalations, and service trends to improve the end-to-end experience.

  • Translate dealer and employee feedback into actionable process improvements.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate unnecessary handoffs, reduce rework, and improve turnaround time.

  • Lead initiatives that improve workflow management, reporting, automation, and operational visibility.

  • Maintain a strong risk-management culture and ensure Dealer Desk processes are executed in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, controls, and service-level requirements.

  • Assess downstream operational impacts and ensure changes are implemented with appropriate procedures, training, communications, controls, and performance monitoring.

  • Help define the future-state strategy for Dealer Desk and translate that strategy into executable priorities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 2+ years Leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to build, lead, and sustain an engaged, accountable, high-performing team in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Auto finance, dealer operations, lending operations, servicing, or financial-services experience is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated strength in talent development, performance coaching, setting clear expectations, reinforcing accountability, and addressing performance concerns directly and constructively.

  • Experience creating development and succession plans, strengthening bench capability, and helping employees grow into expanded responsibilities.

  • Experience leading a customer-, dealer-, or partner-facing operational organization in a regulated financial-services environment.

  • Strong business execution skills with demonstrated ability to move between strategic priorities and day-to-day operational leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to use data, operational metrics, and business insights to identify opportunities and drive measurable improvement.

  • Experience leading process improvement, change management, automation, or technology-enabled transformation.

  • Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, procedures, quality management, and issue escalation.
