Full job description
Position Summary To serve as an integral component of the efficient and smooth operations of Valley Area Agency on Aging's (VAAA) programs and objectives outlined in VAAA's Area Plan. This position provides critical administrative and programmatic support for contract development and management, provider training and technical assistance, compliance monitoring, and strategic planning activities that advance VAAA's mission to serve older adults throughout the three-county service area. Primary Function The Program Coordinator is accountable for a variety of responsibilities including contract development and negotiation, program implementation and monitoring, workshop coordination, provider training and technical assistance, compliance monitoring of subcontractors and Direct Purchase of Service (DPOS) providers, and support for Area Plan development and implementation. This position serves as a liaison between VAAA, service providers, regulatory agencies, and community partners to ensure effective delivery of services to older adults.
