Job Description

Oracle Health is seeking a Director/Senior Director and Commercial Owner, Interoperability Solutions to define and scale the commercial direction for Oracle Health's interoperability portfolio. This role will own strategy and go-to-market approach for key interoperability offerings, including Oracle Health Connection Hub, Oracle Health Information Network, QHIN / TEFCA-enabled capabilities, and related solutions across clinical data exchange, provider-payer connectivity, care coordination, prior authorization, patient access, provider access, payer-to-payer exchange, APIs, and broader ecosystem connectivity.

The individual will be responsible for defining the overall interoperability strategy, including market thesis, customer segmentation, priority use cases, regulatory implications, competitive positioning, product-market fit, pricing, packaging, and bundling strategy. The role will also define the go-to-market approach, including commercial motions, field enablement, sales plays, attach strategy, executive messaging, customer value propositions, and performance metrics. A key part of the role will be determining how interoperability solutions should be positioned within broader Oracle Health sales bundles for health systems, providers, payers, and other healthcare ecosystem participants.

The ideal candidate will bring deep familiarity with the healthcare interoperability landscape, including TEFCA, QHINs, health information networks, FHIR APIs, information blocking rules, ONC certification requirements, CMS interoperability requirements, prior authorization automation, patient access, provider access, payer-to-payer exchange, and related regulatory and market dynamics. This leader must be able to translate complex regulatory, technical, and workflow requirements into a clear commercial strategy that supports growth, adoption, and differentiation for Oracle Health.

The role will partner across product, sales, marketing, finance, legal/compliance, operations, implementation, and senior leadership to align interoperability strategy with Oracle Health's broader platform, EHR, cloud, data, and health system growth priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Health Policy, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a closely related field.

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in healthcare technology, interoperability, health information exchange, EHRs, payer-provider connectivity, healthcare strategy, product strategy, commercial strategy, or go-to-market leadership.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability regulations, standards, and market dynamics, including TEFCA, QHINs, FHIR APIs, ONC requirements, CMS interoperability requirements, information blocking, health information networks, and health data exchange models.

  • Demonstrated experience defining strategy, go-to-market approach, market positioning, customer segmentation, pricing, packaging, bundling, sales enablement, and commercialization plans for healthcare technology products.

  • Ability to translate complex regulatory, technical, and workflow concepts into clear commercial strategies and business value propositions for health systems, providers, payers, and internal teams.

  • Strong commercial judgment, structured problem-solving skills, executive communication skills, and ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving healthcare technology markets.

  • Experience influencing and aligning senior stakeholders across product, sales, marketing, finance, legal/compliance, operations, implementation, and executive leadership teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred, such as an MBA, MHA, MS in Health Informatics, or related graduate degree.

  • Experience with interoperability platforms, HIEs, QHINs, TEFCA participation, EHR connectivity, FHIR/API products, prior authorization solutions, patient access tools, provider-payer data exchange, or healthcare data networks. Global experience with these topics preferred.

  • Prior experience in a healthcare technology company, EHR vendor, health information exchange, payer, provider organization, top-tier strategy consulting firm, or similarly strategic commercial environment.

  • Experience developing pricing, packaging, bundling, attach-rate, platform monetization, or enterprise software commercialization strategies.

  • Familiarity with Oracle Health, Epic, MEDITECH, athenahealth, national networks, payer-provider interoperability vendors, and broader health data exchange market dynamics.

  • Strong ability to create executive-ready materials, sales playbooks, business cases, competitive analyses, go-to-market plans, and leadership-level recommendations

  • Lead pricing, packaging, and bundling strategy for interoperability solutions, including how these offerings attach to broader Oracle Health platform, EHR, cloud, and health system sales motions.

  • Translate interoperability regulations, policy shifts, and industry standards into actionable commercial strategy, product positioning, customer value propositions, and internal guidance.

  • Conduct market and competitive analysis across QHINs, HIEs, EHR vendors, payer-provider connectivity solutions, FHIR/API platforms, prior authorization vendors, and other interoperability players.
