Employment Type: Full timeShift: Day Shift Description: Director of Facilities Maintenance | Albany, NY (Full-Time, Days) This role is best suited for an experienced healthcare facilities leader who has managed complex hospital operations, led multidisciplinary teams, overseen capital projects, maintained regulatory compliance, and driven operational excellence across facilities, safety, security, and engineering functions. Key Responsibilities

  • Direct, plan, and oversee:

  • Engineering & Maintenance

  • Environmental Health & Safety

  • Protective Services

  • Lead facility operations and ensure compliance with healthcare, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience (typically 8 years of related experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree).

  • Minimum 5+ years of related leadership experience.

  • Minimum 10 years of healthcare environment experience in a managerial role.

  • Strong ability to:

  • Interpret technical procedures, professional journals, and government regulations.

  • Write reports, policies, procedures, and business correspondence.

  • Communicate effectively with staff, leadership, physicians, vendors, and the public.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.

  • Professional certification.

  • At least 3 years of experience at the Assistant Director level or higher in a healthcare setting.

Pay Range: $50.50 - $80.80 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.”
