Essential Responsibilities:

  • Daily review of alarm logs and operating trends for specialty gas equipment. Monitor system up time and proactively address issues. Monitor for “out of control” and “out of specification” conditions to document and/or correct as required.
  • Support the incremental installation and start-up of new gas delivery systems. Assist in start-up and commissioning of any new systems. Coordinate and perform Safety Level 1&2 inspections of new gas delivery equipment with EHS and the Local Jurisdiction (AHJ).
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities for gas supply and distribution systems in accordance with established procedures.
  • Conduct Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and PPE assessments for gas handling and maintenance tasks and procedures.
  • Generate and update all site-level operating procedures and work instructions. Create new procedures as necessary for any new activities. Upload procedures into document control system.
  • Participate in all required operations meetings to support both Engineering and Production.
  • Coordinate utility turn on / off for bulk and specialty gas systems.

Skills and Requirements

Experience – o Hands on experience with Gas and/or Chemical supply and delivery systems o Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control methodologies & systems o Equipment or process maintenance experience in semi-conductor manufacturing o Familiar with using helium leak detectors, mobile analytical carts, vacuum pump/purge carts, and data loggers. Required Qualifications:

  • Education + Experience – requirement includes any one of the following options. Relevant facilities experience is defined as a facilities technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2 Year Technical Associates Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semi-Conductor operations or a related discipline with 2 years relevant facilities experience
  • Equivalent military training / experience with 3 years relevant facilities experience
  • Certification from an accredited trade school with a minimum of 5 years relevant facilities experience
  • High school diploma with a minimum of 8 years relevant facilities experience

Skills o Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks along with required documentation o Demonstrated work performance in an environment requiring high level of attention to detail and timeliness o Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize activities
