Superintendent - Columbus

Job Description

A client in the Columbus, Ohio area is seeking a Superintendent for a top construction client. This individual will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, combining estimating, project coordination, field execution, financial management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate can build actionable plans, coordinate project resources, manage customer relationships, and deliver safe, profitable, high-quality results.

D2D:

• Lead projects from estimating and turnover through execution and closeout

• Build budgets, schedules, logistics plans, and customer plans

• Track job costs, billing, forecasts, production, and project risks

• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, vendors, and subcontractors

• Maintain RFIs, submittals, change orders, drawings, and project logs

• Lead project meetings and communicate status to customers and leadership

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience and 10+ years in concrete construction

• Managed concrete projects ranging from $1M to $25M- Experience creating and managing project budgets and schedules (3 weeks out)

• Able to lead safety, quality, production, and project timelines

• Background in multiple concrete sectors (commercial, industrial, warehouse, structural, manufacturing) - Knowledge of equipment planning, buyouts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders

• Bilingual in Spanish/ English
