Purchase & Sales Specialist

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase & Sales Specialist to support daily purchasing and sales coordination activities for a wholesale distribution operation. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with orders, vendor communication, and accurate data management in a fast-paced environment. The person in this role will help keep transactions organized, maintain timely processing of purchase and sales information, and contribute to smooth coordination across internal teams. Success in this position requires strong administrative skills, sound judgment, and comfort working within structured systems such as SAP.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entry, review, and tracking of purchase and sales orders to ensure records remain accurate and up to date.

• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments to support timely order processing and issue resolution.

• Maintain purchasing documentation, verify transaction details, and follow established procedures for order accuracy.

• Support day-to-day purchasing activities by preparing order information, updating statuses, and monitoring follow-through.

• Use SAP and related systems to enter data, retrieve order details, and maintain organized transaction records.

• Assist with merchant services and other administrative tasks connected to purchasing and sales operations.

• Review submitted information for completeness and correct discrepancies to reduce delays in processing.

• Provide clerical and operational support to the purchasing department and help maintain efficient workflow across functions.

The salary range for this position is $20 to $22. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Requirements • Experience supporting purchasing, sales support, or administrative operations in a business environment.

• Working knowledge of purchase orders and general purchasing processes.

• Ability to perform accurate data entry with strong attention to detail.

• Experience using SAP or similar enterprise systems for order or transaction management.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordination with vendors and internal teams.

• Proficiency with standard office tools and comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment.
