Description

Our client is seeking a strategic, hands-on finance leader to serve as Vice President of Finance. This executive leadership role oversees financial operations, investment reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit activities, and stewardship.

Ideal Background:

  • CPA strongly preferred

  • Finance and accounting leadership experience

  • Hands-on, operationally engaged leadership style

  • Investment, endowment, fund accounting, foundation, nonprofit, healthcare, or complex asset management experience

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

Requirements • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or a related leadership role.

  • Demonstrated success managing annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

  • Strong background in month-end close processes and the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports.

  • Experience developing cash flow projections and using financial data to guide business decisions.

  • Ability to analyze complex financial information, identify trends, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability.

  • Advanced proficiency with financial systems and spreadsheet-based analysis tools.
