Full job description

Lake County Abstract/Fidelity Title Agency is seeking an experienced full time Title Officer. Job Duties include: -Searching the history of the public records -Communicating with all parties to include customers, banks and real estate professionals -Prepare and issue title commitments and title insurance policies, based on information compiled from title searches -Examine documentation such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, plat books, maps, contracts, and agreements to verify factors such as properties' legal descriptions, ownership, or restrictions -Work well in a team environment and possess strong customer service skills and observe confidentiality This is a full time position 8-5 Monday to Friday, with Holidays off.
