We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant. The Quality Assurance Assistant supports the facility's food safety and quality management systems by maintaining quality documentation, monitoring product hold inventories, conducting inspections and audits, assisting with compliance activities, and supporting laboratory and production quality programs. This position works closely with Production, Warehouse, Sanitation, and Quality teams to ensure products meet company, customer, and regulatory standards. Performance is measured by maintaining accurate documentation, supporting food safety compliance, ensuring inventory accuracy, and promoting continuous improvement of quality systems. Accountabilities: Quality Systems & Documentation Maintain Quality Assurance databases including Restraining Orders (RO), Product Disposition Requests (PDR), corrective actions, and other quality system records. Enter, update, and maintain hold, release, and disposition documentation while ensuring product traceability. Prepare quality reports, spreadsheets, forms, correspondence, and documentation supporting plant quality systems. Maintain, revise, and distribute quality procedures, work instructions, manuals, and training materials.
