  • Lead and participate in first‑of‑a‑kind product qualification efforts for external suppliers, including design reviews and technical risk assessments with internal teams and customers.

  • Evaluate and disposition product and process non‑conformances, supporting corrective and preventive actions through structured root cause analysis.

  • Contribute to value‑stream transformation initiatives for outages and repairs, driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

  • Foster and employ a safety first, zero-defect mindset. Always STOP WORK when something is unsafe and don't start working again until it is safe.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in steam turbine manufacturing and repairs.

  • At least 3 years of workshop manufacturing methods and tooling design experience.

Desired Characteristics (Technical Skills/Competencies):

  • Strong understanding of low and high alloy materials, welding processes, and weld procedure/process qualification requirements.

  • Experience with manufacturing and repair processes, with a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles.

  • Strong root cause analysis and structured problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing qualifications, non-conformance disposition (non-conformance and supplier deviations), and quality control processes.

Social Skills/Competencies:
