THE POSITION Join our dedicated team as a Perioperative Clinical Education Specialist. In this position, you will leverage your expertise to design, implement, and evaluate educational programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of care provided to the OR and Pre- and Post-OP clinical areas. Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing and a minimum of three years' clinical experience in the practice area. Three years of teaching experience preferred. A Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is required. MS must be achieved within three years of the hire date if not completed prior. Must show and maintain evidence of nursing competencies within the practice area, including certifications required for the area of practice (i.e., CNE, NPD-BC, CNOR, CAPA, etc.).
