Registered Nurse (RN) –Arcata,CA
Travel Package:
Travel Rate (based on 40 hours): Hourly $25.74, Stipend (Lodging $910.00 + M&I $602.00) = $1,512.00,
Total Comp: $2,541.60
Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:
- 8:00am - 4:30pm
Nursing Specialty: Utilization Review RN
** Duties & Responsibilities**
-
Review medical records to ensure healthcare services are appropriate and medically necessary.
-
Evaluate patient information and treatment plans based on established clinical guidelines.

Coordinate with physicians, healthcare providers, and insurance companies regarding patient care and service approvals.

Monitor medical documentation and identify missing information needed for review.

Assist with authorization requests, continued stay reviews, and discharge planning.

Maintain accurate records and follow established clinical guidelines, policies, and confidentiality requirements.
**Minimum Qualifications: **

Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing

Active CA license,
-
BLS and ACLS certification.

Proof of negative TB screen within the past 12 months.

Experienced Utilization Review Nurse / Case Manager.

Additional certifications may be required

Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
