The Security Operations Specialist provides on-the-ground security for CHAOS and works alongside the contract security guard force. The role works the day shift and reports to the Physical Security Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Patrol the office and check exits and cameras.
  • Perform building walk-throughs and technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) sweeps and document findings.
  • Control building access, support badging, and manage visitor registration.
  • Respond to alarms and incidents and prepare incident reports and patrol logs.
  • Support alarm and guard response time testing and physical security checks.
  • Participate in emergency drills and evacuations.
  • Enforce CHAOS security policies and procedures.
  • Work alongside the contract security guard force.
  • Physical demands: standing, walking patrols, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Travel: none.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person
  • Military security forces or similar experience
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with TSCM sweeps
  • Active Secret security clearance

Hourly Range: $34.00 - 58.00 The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base compensation range and excludes additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits. If your compensation requirements fall outside of the range, we still encourage you to apply. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
