In this role, you’ll provide leadership for nursing operations, colleagues, and programs while fostering a culture of quality, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do As a Nurse Leader, you will:

Lead and support nursing colleagues while creating a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.

Oversee day-to-day department operations, including staffing, hiring, training, performance, and resource management.

Coach, mentor, and develop colleagues while supporting professional growth and succession planning.

Champion exceptional, patient-centered care and evidence-based nursing practices.
-
Monitor quality, safety, operational, and financial outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
-
Lead teams through change while encouraging innovation, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
-
Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and other healthcare professionals to meet the short- and long-term needs of patients and the organization.

Promote effective communication and build trusting relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
-
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and professional nursing standards.
-

What You’ll Need
-
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
-
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
-
Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license.*
-
At least two years of relevant clinical nursing experience.

Supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred.
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within three months of hire.
-
Mandatory Reporter training for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse required within six months of hire, where applicable.

Specialty practice certification preferred.

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, shared-leadership environment.

Strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

A leadership style grounded in honesty, integrity, compassion, and the ability to inspire others.
