General Manager 3 - Environmental Services / Custodial

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services/Custodial General Manager 3 to oversee the housekeeping and patient transport departments at New England Baptist Hospital, part of the BILH system.

This is a 120 bed specialty ortho hospital located in Roxbury Crossing, MA. Operating Room/Emergency Dept experience required. The GM will oversee an Operations manager and a team of 35-40 frontline employees, reporting to the Multi-Service GM.

In this essential leadership role, you’ll be responsible for guiding environmental services operations to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You’ll manage day-to-day performance, oversee budgets, and champion safety while inspiring your team to meet and exceed service expectations.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $89250 per year - $115500 per year

Incentive Eligibility: Eligible to participate in Sodexo's incentive plan and earn variable compensation in addition to base salary

What you’ll bring

Experience in an acute care setting, specifically in the OR and/or ED

• Proven experience leading custodial or environmental services teams in a fast- paced setting.

• Leadership presence with a focus on team development, engagement, and retention.

• Solid understanding of budgeting, resource planning, and operational performance metrics.

• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in facilities or healthcare environments.

• A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and service delivery.
