Job Description

We are looking for talented Senior Principal Level Software engineers to help us create the world s most advanced solutions in the area such as Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Aircraft Protection, Radar Warning and Electronic Attack for our defense related customers. Our products provide critical mission capabilities to address the ever-evolving challenges and threats to our nation s security and the war fighter.

You will be an integrated team member, with leadership opportunities, collaborating with Systems, Hardware, and Test engineers in one or more of the phases of Project Planning, Requirements Development, Design, Development, Integration and Testing.

You will prepare design and project documentation intended to be used within complex programs or across sets of programs in accordance with established processes.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Work with the S/W Lead or SW Manager to devise the customer or SSS requirements allocated to S/W.

2. Work with S/W Leadership to determine the number of SRS documents or DOORS modules that are required.

3. Determine S/W tools to use to capture requirements, test and design material with S/W Leadership.

4. Develop S/W requirements using legacy SRS documents and reviewing applicable ICDs or IDDs.

5. Review any related System SDARS or ADDs for additional requirement information.

6. Trace new S/W requirements to SSS, review with S/W team.

7. Work with S/W leadership to tie S/W design (applications and algorithms) to S/W requirements.

8. Provide verification method (Demonstration, Test, Inspection or Analysis) for each S/W requirement.

9. Group S/W requirements into S/W test cases for review with S/W Leadership.

10. Plan each stage likely as JIRA stories.

11. Work independently while working with Stakeholders and SMEs

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Secret Security Clearance (active within the past two years)

• High-level language proficiency in C

• Foundation in Object-Oriented design and implementation principles

• Experience with software and systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools

• Experience in Automated Testing

• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience in the SW Design experience

• Background in embedded and/or software development

• Familiar with reviewing ICDs,

• Familiar with EW and CM

• Familiar with Atlassian Tools and DOORs

• Experience collaborating with FW/HW/Systems/SW

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
