Your Key Ressponsibilities
About the Role:
We're looking for a technically fluent professional to join our Real Estate Research & Development team. This is a build-and-analyze role: you'll dig into capital markets data, conduct research that shapes how clients understand the market, author substantive insights that guide client decision-making, and contribute to developing the next generation of analytical tools and products for our real estate business. You'll thrive here if you like ownership, enjoy prototyping ideas quickly, and are comfortable using code and AI tools as core parts of your daily workflow.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
What We're Looking For:
-
Entrepreneurial mindset — You take initiative, move from idea to prototype quickly, and don't wait to be told what to build; you balance speed with analytical rigor and substantiate conclusions with data.
-
Strong coding skills — Comfortable writing code to pull, clean, model, and visualize data (Python, SQL, or similar).
-
AI fluency — Hands-on experience applying LLMs or AI tools (including machine learning techniques) to accelerate research, writing, or analysis workflows; genuine curiosity about applying AI to real estate research problems.
-
Data visualization & market commentary — Ability to develop clear, compelling data visualizations (charts, graphics) and skill in translating quantitative findings into accessible narrative for clients and internal stakeholders.
-
Analytical rigor & quantitative methods — Demonstrated ability to apply statistical modeling and econometric techniques to financial data, ideally with commercial real estate data; comfort working with large, messy datasets and turning them into clear, defensible conclusions supported by rigorous analysis.
-
Real estate / commercial real estate experience — Knowledge of real estate market dynamics, capital structures, investment thesis drivers, and key participants is a plus, not a requirement. We're prioritizing analytical and technical horsepower plus a fast learning curve over direct industry tenure.
