Full job description

About Novaflow We’re building the future of AI in biology. Novaflow develops AI agents that help scientists analyze complex biological data and answer research questions across genomics, single-cell analysis, and spatial biology. We’re growing quickly and seeing strong demand for our software. We’re looking for an experienced commercial leader to turn that demand into lasting customer relationships and build our GTM motion from the ground up. About the role As our GTM Lead, you’ll work directly with our founder and CEO to build our enterprise sales function and grow adoption across biotech, pharma, and research institutions. You’ll own both strategy and execution: deciding which customers to pursue, closing deals yourself, and developing a repeatable approach to acquiring and expanding accounts. You should have experience selling technical products to scientific teams and know how to build a commercial function at an early-stage company. What you’ll do

  • Build our GTM motion from the ground up. Define target customers, develop our sales playbook, and establish the processes and tools to scale revenue.
  • Own enterprise sales. Generate opportunities, lead discovery and demos, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business.
  • Translate scientific needs into commercial opportunities. Partner with our technical team to understand customer workflows, scope engagements, and demonstrate the value of Novaflow.
  • Convert pilots into long-term contracts. Establish clear success criteria and expand successful engagements across teams and departments.
  • Shape pricing, packaging, and positioning. Use customer conversations and sales results to refine how we bring our software to market.
  • Build relationships across biotech and pharma. Engage research leaders, computational biology teams, executive buyers, and potential partners.
  • Develop channels for growth. Drive targeted outbound, partnerships, and conference engagement that generate qualified pipeline.
  • Own commercial performance. Track pipeline, forecast revenue, and bring customer and competitive insights into product decisions.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or GTM, including meaningful experience selling into biotech, pharma, or life sciences.
  • A proven record of personally closing enterprise deals and meeting or exceeding revenue targets. You can point to specific contracts, account growth, and commercial results.
  • Experience building an early-stage GTM motion or enterprise sales function, including generating pipeline and developing a repeatable sales process.
  • Experience selling scientific software, bioinformatics platforms, computational tools, or other technical products.
  • Scientific fluency and the ability to connect research needs with clear product and business value.
  • Experience navigating complex buying processes involving scientific champions, budget owners, procurement, legal, and IT.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-through.
  • The independence and judgment to move quickly with a small team.

Especially valuable

  • An established network in biotech or pharma.
  • Familiarity with omics, computational biology, or AI tools for scientific research.
  • Success turning pilots into broader enterprise agreements.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity as a founding team member
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Unlimited PTO + federal holidays
  • Monthly health and wellness stipend
  • Meals covered when you're in the office (lunch daily, dinner when you're working late)
  • Team offsites and company events
  • If you're curious about being a founder one day, this is your front-row seat. You'll work side by side with the founders and have full visibility into product strategy, customer conversations, and fundraising as we scale.
