At Southwestern Veterans' Center in Pittsburgh, you'll provide hands-on care to Pennsylvania veterans while building a stable career with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. What You'll Do Your work helps residents feel comfortable, supported, and at home. You'll: 1. Help residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and moving safely 2. Support resident comfort, mobility, and independence 3. Monitor residents and report changes to nursing staff 4. Take and record vital information 5. Help maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms 6. State retirement benefits Work Schedule This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Opportunities are available on all three shifts: 1. 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM 2. 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM 3. 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM Each shift includes a 30-minute lunch. You'll work rotating days and every other weekend. Do You Qualify? You must have active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry for this position.
