Successfully complete Direct Care Worker Course, provided by BAYADA 2. BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a training program incorporating basic regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills for a Direct Care Worker, graduate to provide care for adults in our Assistive Care State Programs practice. Job Responsibilities for Direct Care Workers: 1. Activities of daily living 2. Light housekeeping 3. Bathing 4. Grooming 5. Toileting 6. Nail care 7. Range of motion / exercises 8. Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices 9. Oral feeding 10. Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration 11. Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc. 12.
