Skanska is searching for a dynamic Senior Scheduler. This is a great opportunity to start a career with a company that builds things that matter and values its team. We are proud to share our culture of diversity and inclusion.

Our work makes a clear contribution to society and the environment around us. We build in many different verticals. (https://www.usa.skanska.com/who-we-are/media/brochures/) Whether we are building schools to provide inspiring spaces for learning, roads to connect communities, or hospitals to care for patients, it all contributes to our purpose – we build for a better society.

Skanska's values —Be Better Together, Act Ethically and Transparently, Commit to Customer, and Care for Life—are deeply engrained in how we work, which is why our values support and drive our D&I efforts.

The Senior Scheduler supports scheduling efforts across large or multiple projects within an office or region, helping ensure compliance with corporate scheduling standards, transparency of project conditions, and the timely completion and profitability of projects. This role works closely with project and regional leadership to align scheduling strategies, support proposal and baseline schedules, manage updates, and oversee all scheduling deliverables. The Senior Scheduler also contributes to business development efforts, participates in schedule review meetings, and takes action on non-compliance issues as needed.

In this role, the Senior Scheduler serves as a technical resource and administrator for P6 within the office, while also providing training and guidance to schedulers and project teams. The position gathers and analyzes construction progress information, prepares reports, evaluates scheduling metrics, and ensures scheduling processes follow company policies and procedures. In addition, the Senior Scheduler helps troubleshoot scheduling system issues, recommends improvements to increase efficiency, and applies knowledge of claims techniques to support project controls and schedule management.

Success in this position requires strong knowledge of scheduling software, scheduling techniques, and construction project delivery, along with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. The Senior Scheduler must be able to collaborate with jobsite personnel, project teams, and stakeholders at all levels while maintaining discretion, consistency, and high standards. With experience in large-scale projects, contract review, schedule analysis, and training, this role plays a key part in driving project performance, accountability, and schedule success.

Senior Scheduler Required Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud and Microsoft Office products.

  • 5+ years of related construction scheduling experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or 8 years’ experience plus minimum 3 years prior relevant experience.
