You communicate clearly, learn continuously, and build working relationships across engineering, operations, test, finance, and contracts.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering

  • Competence with program management software and Microsoft Office products

  • Working knowledge of finance practices in program management, including labor accounting, overhead management, and government contract rules for performance and compliance

  • Ability to develop and negotiate work plans with the customer and internal support organizations

  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and present technical, financial, and general business information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree

  • Microsoft Project experience for schedule and resource management (other tools are acceptable)

  • Working knowledge of propulsion test cell processes and coordination with engineering

  • Team facilitation skills, including running meetings that serve their business objectives and draw on others' contributions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and prioritize multiple projects

  • Self-starter who takes prompt action, addresses problems, and goes beyond what is required
